What I wish - Isn't it time for an update to the History Book - as well as Lx smothered in abalone for the cover? |

STOP the rumours
we did not pull the thread.
I wish I knew which one you were talking about and I would find it for you. |

The logical assumption is if the author does want the thread up, then it's not up. Keep in mind, if the author just didn't want their comments up anymore, they can just delete the content post and re-save it.
Most boards do not allow editing or deletion of the posts after 30 minutes. Sometimes it takes my that long just to spell check, so on boards I run, you can edit/delete what you posted.
WE DO NOT REMOVE THREADS OR POSTS!!!! At most, we may lock a thread that gets too far off-topic. Over two years ago, a thread was moved for a Terms Of Service violation. WE DO NOT REMOVE THREADS OR POSTS!!!!
I think I will add that as a reminder in the TOS. If you post it (anything) on this board, it will exist for the life of this board. SO if you don't want something you said brought up in conversation in 20 years (if we have BBS systems then) by someone just doing a search, don't post it. |

Location: Houston, TX | Wait a minute...can somebody help me spell check my deleted posts? I didn't realize we were supposed to do that. I think I've been deleting my spell checked posts, which is obviously wrong and I don't want the mods to pull the thread. |
