Had to visit GC today for soem speaker cables (man that stuff is expensive). Anyway it had been awhile since I checked their Ovation inventory. 13 guitars and only 3 of them were celebs (mando, some celeb delux, and a lefty a/e of some sort). They had 10 US Ovations (2 cedar balladeers, 3 Elite LX, 2 StdBall LX, 2 LegendLX, 1 Elite StdLX and 1 Legend12LX. Pretty nice inventory. No adamas. It was refreshing to see a "relic" tele for $2499. A brand new guitar beat to shit to look old. Mine looks way better and got that way by actually being PLAYED, not by some buffing wheel gone astray. By the way, two 10-foot speaker cables cost me $85. And that was on SALE!

This wasn't by any chance that "Monster Hose" we saw around here about a week ago being advertised for instrument cable, was it? ;)

Glad to hear there's lots of LX's. I know what you mean about the Tele, my strat looks horrible but its all genuine wear. And it probably wouldn't bring $1200.
