Location: Upper Left USA | In the spirit of finding the name of our “Inner Muse” I would like to offer up the Grunge/Metal name generator. This tool can be used to generate a name for yourself or for your band. My apologies to Serge, but like, plagiarism saves time!
And, to answer MoodyPI’s inevitable question: No, this isn’t all I did at work today!
First select two colors from Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue or Purple.
Then draw on your initials and copy down the key words. You can arrange or delete these any way you want. Just think dark, angry, antiestablishmental thoughts.
A – Velvet
B – Fringe
C – Betty
D – Slice
E – Black
F – Stain
G – Lost
H – Death
I – Scream
J – Dark
K – Bloody
L – Prenatal
M – Edge
N – Girlfriend
O – Nod
P – Blink
Q – Puddle
R – Sister
S – Hole
T – Nail
U – Razor
V – Needle
W – Loser
X – Blade
Y – Hammer
Z – Axe
Apply the rules according to the two colors you chose at the start:
Red – Make it all one word.
Orange – Eliminate the inside vowels
Yellow – aLeRnAtE tHe CaSe.
Green – Add up to three digits of your choice. Example – 666, 69, zero, Year of Birth, etc.
Blue –Misspell it!
Purple – Add your Mother’s name in a possessive form, Example: Mildred’s or “of Agnus”.
Congratulations! You are now in touch with your Bad, Dark Self!
