Merry Christmas to all, we can give Al his first request, but I have spent years in construction and have never seen a legitimate concrete/block contractor. When I did Government contracting for the Corps of Engineers, we always locked a member of the family of our concrete contractors in a room with a laborer with a horse whip. That way, when questions of slump, delivery time, plumb comformity, and general quality came up, a trip to our one way mirror for the field boss usually got results.

Using these methods of quality control, I built a mess hall with hundreds of openings for special drains involving a state of the art garbage disposal system, piping the effluent from local commercial garbage disposal units to a collection compressor at the back of the mess hall. I only had to feed two of the family members through the disposals before I got all my openings in the right places. My floor layout was used as a model for 4 other mess halls and they didn't have to grind up any contractors. It's amazing what word of mouth can acclomplish.
