I just got done playing my new Ovation through an amp. I thought it sounded good unplugged. After playing it through that amp, I gotta tell ya. I need an amp of my own. :D

Hi Mcamnl,
What kind of an amp I use a Fender Acoustasonic and it's awesome I love playing my O pluged in. The balance and tone are easy to create no fuss, just plug and play.

The great 'plugged in' sound is just another gimmick to stimulate GAS!

There are some good archived threads on amps for acoustic/electrics. As you might guess -- if you have been lurking much -- there is a range of different opinions.

Since Fender has discontinued some of the Acoustasonic line, you might be able to find one cheap. They can be good buys if the price is right.
