I just found a major design flaw at The Ovation Solidbody and Storm Series Collection site. Appearently I would guess that most people if they still used IE as their browser could not see 99% of the site. There is a "pulldown" menu that links to every model (that I know of) and has pictures and specs on most of them. Thanks to miscrosofts own version of the world, that pulldown menu was not visible to most with an IR Browser and I apologize for that.
I have modified the site so that everything should be available now. And yes, I'm ready for everyone to point out the mistakes too and I appreciate the input. |

ADODB.Field error '80020009'

Nevermind, I see the problem. I don't have data for some items... thanks for spotting that for me. |

Location: Houston, TX | Hey Miles! I was looking at your guitar site and saw in the "notes" for hardbodies it says assembled in Moosup, Connecticut. I thought it was Marion, North Carolina.
Hope you have a great Christmas.

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | As far as I know the Hardbodies were done in Moosup, but if anyone has better info I'll update. Most of the info I have is gleaned from posts here. I have heard reference to the NC shop, but really do not know what was assembled there. |

Location: Sykesville, MD | Hey Miles,
Thanks to that information page of yours I was able to find out which model I have based on the very limited knowledge I have about guitars. Looks like mine is the GS3 with the double Humbuckers, Kahler bridge and flyer arm, volume, tone, 5 way selector and everything else it states there. Says the MSRP was $470 back in 1982-83. My parents got a bit of a deal on it then because when they bought it for my sister they got it for $400 and I stand corrected. I was told it was bought brand new and not used as I had previously thought.
So knowing that mine is completely stock and in fairly good condition, any idea of what it may fetch? Not that I'd ever sell this one, I just may have it insured or something. I've seen the people here show on E-bay they got them for 200-300 bucks. I have pics listed on another post of mine if anyone wants to take a look see. |

I think you have the right range at 2-300. I don' remember seeing one go for any more than that. Good guitar - a bit underrated. |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | I had neglected this site for quite some time. Much like the Barber who cuts everyone elses hair. I need to still fill out some of the articles and eventually most if not all of the photo's will be of guitars in my collection. Finally there will be closeups linked from the descriptions to the parts that are unique for each model such as pickups and bridges.
I really had wondered why this site wasn't getting more attention. I figured there just wasn't that much interest, but I noticed my "inventory" page, which just has names and pictures, gets TONS of traffic and I get lots of questions, mostly answered by the lookup. Then I realized IE was sizing the page differently. I never use IE so I didn't notice it.
Well anyway, thanks for stepping up and saying something. What's the point of "all that effort" as you put it, if no one can see it. So thanks again. |

Location: Sykesville, MD | Well Miles, I think you already have a GS3 in your collection, or at least the picture of number 67 on your list looks very much the same as mine. But, if you'd like to use mine for your site that is perfectly fine with me. |
