Hope they offer it to us in blue. But I could live with red. But I'd prefer blue. |

Dubbya II would know if it's an exact copy...he has the original.

Could you please point out the difference(s) for us less fortunate ones (Bill & Cliff aside)? |

Other opinions? |

Location: Atlanta,Ga. | The two things that i have picked up on are:
The three slotheads that i have had did not have the black highlites in the fingerboard inlays and the saddle and nut were gold on all of mine.I also dont think the burst was quite so pronounced from center to outer border.Aside from that the pic is dead on.This should make Ovation fans very happy.Lets see how many step up to the plate and buy one |

I already have a blue Adamas. That red burst is looking very sweet!

Location: NJ | In a thread from a week or so ago, I posted a pic of "Woz" PLAYING #47. . . view and compare.
Paul H:
Yeah, mine does have the same "strap setup":
A turned walnut endpin, and a "brass ring" on a swivel up on the heel of the neck.
There are LOT of little "nuances" to these guitars that show (or DON'T show) in various lighting conditions, so comparing pictures of the SAME guitar can be deceiving at times.
Being that I've only had "KarnEvil Knowledge" of just one of these, Sam'd have a bit more experience than I . . .
I do think that the gold flecks in the finish MIGHT be a little more "pronounced" on mine, and mine does have the gold acoustic-only saddle.
Other'n that . . . it looks purty goddamm CLOSE!!
;) ;) |

I bet the guys had some fun putting these together. |

And you need to remember this Christmas it is better to give than to receive. So I'm going to give all the Ovation fan club members a chance to be a better person and buy this guitar and give it to me. You'll be a better person for it and I'll agree just this once to play the Grinch.

AFG, I would recommend that you start immediately and don't stop until Al tells you to!
