Location: south east Michigan | The science that goes into Ovations attracted me way back in '71. It looks like alot of science went into this new "tuned" multi-curved bowl. I look forward to seeing how it feels to hold it and hear if equal air volume equates to the sound of the old deep bowl. |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | ICH!!!!! Any time you guys mention JP-4 I get a quizzy feeling. I almost drank JP-5 once and it wasn't pleasant!!!! It got into the fresh water on a ship I was on I had woke up in the middle of the night (or day, who knows) for a drink of water. Hit the spigot on the fountain and in my sleepiness I barely got my face out of the way fast enough. To make matters worse, a guy had just walked in (the smoking lounge) and was getting ready to light-up.
I'm getting heebie-jeebies just thinking about this. |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | What is the differnce between JP4 and JP5? Just curious. I think I was on the USS Denver LPD9 and this happened and it happened on the Starship Enterprise (CVN-65) once, but I knew about before I tried to drink it. However, making coffee with Saltwater is a pretty good wake-me-up too. |
