Keeping you lot updated with my Custom Ovation Balladeer , was once a sunburst color but as you can see by the pictures it aint no-more. Ive uploaded the pictures to Stephan1972 gallery and will keep them updated as the project develops..I am no expert at this but hey its better than throwing the guitar out...

Any comments (no slagging now) would be usefull, also I am still on the lookout for Gold Machine heads, 3/3 regular size and must be the old style screw fixings....

Many Regards from snowy Scotland

Stephen,

Looking good!

What sort of finish and tones are you using?

Mhhh I am too sure on the finishes yet I am just playing around with some, I seem to rub of more than I put on, I dont envy those guy's that hand make guitars there is some amount of work into trying to get a reasonable finish never-mind making the things..

Ive got a big blister on me thumb with rubbing the darn thing...I will be through to the bracing soonly ;-(

Cheers

Stephan
