Just went to my local Sam Ash and played a "new" Collectors 2003 model. Played VERY nicely. Started jamming with a guy who was playing a Taylor. Needless to say, he liked the sound of the O and started playing it as well.

Anyway, back to the 2003. Very intersting look. Played very well in spite of me being the one playing it. It has the 5-piece recessed epaulets. Very nice. Interesting color to the sitka spruce as well.

Anyone out there own one of these? The only additions I would make would be to have both XLR and 1/4-inch outputs and changes the preamp to the Optima or Op Pro.

There's a new one on the rack at the Ted Brown in Silverdale, WA.

It is an excellant player and a looker!

I purchased mine from MF earlier this year. It's an FRG but to this day I can't find any blems or issues with it. Is without a doubt one of my favorite Os. Absolutely love the laser cut inlays... Wonder if we'll see any Adamas with the same inlays someday...

Nope!

The inlay is .050" thick and the Adamas top is .033" thick or so.
