I have an opportunity to pick up a new Ovation Pinnacle Deluxe for $415 I do not think that the case is included for that price, but it could be. Since I can not read my handwritten notes, let us just assume that the price is without the case. That way, if it is included, it is a plus. Is this a good price for an ovation with a solid top, mid depth bowl, abalone top trim, red burst finish, and adamas style soundholes? Anyone know if it has pearloid tuner buttons?

Not a bad price, Guitar Trader has the CU247 for $499.00 Not sure if that price includes a case?

If you can live with the stigma of being Korean-made, the Pinnacles are damn fine guitars. Yes, they do have pearloid buttons on gold tuners. Also, a AA solid spruce top. Abalone purfling. OP30. Mid-bowl. Nice fretboard with simple abalone dots. Same bowl as the US made guitars. The neck I played felt as good as any two-piece US neck I've played in a while. All for under $500. It's an excellent value.

P2PH, go back with the cash and swear (well not really) that you understood that it included the case! A good workable instrument, good luck.
