Of course, you guys in New York and CAL-EE-FOR-NEE-UH might not know what a firearm is... |

Location: NC | I use to be a big Sig Sauer fan and use a P220 .45 caliber on duty and recently bought a Glock model 36 .45 caliber for secondary conceal carry. Glocks are better combat weapons and the design produces a recoil that is horizontal to horizon........in other words travels the radial along the arm and creates better target reacquisition which could mean life or death.
I have shot so many weapons and unless you have tried Glock (and I know their ugly) you don't know what your missing.
I have shot combat and qualification and stress shooting and have been shot at once in Charlotte, NC during a frackass and believe me.......running is sometimes a noble thing....LMAO! |

Location: SoCal | My interest is only professional. I shoot because it's the right thing to do. But I have no problem with a strategy of "elbows and heels". My goal, as I've gotten older, married, and have kids, is not to find myself in "those" situations. I work in a strictly "cowardly" mode these days.
If the situation looks bad, hell, buy the guy a beer and talk it over. Then hit him over the head with the empty beer bottle and run like hell! |

There are people who swear by the .45 and people who swear by the 9. It's more a matter of placement and willingness to do unto others before they can do unto you.
I know people who are deadly with a writing folder. It's the person, not the tool. |

Location: Wright City, MO | Have a Glock Model 22. Love the .40 caliber. Also have an Auto-Ordinance .45 (contracted to build for Colt in WWII). Still like the Glock better ... It has 15 round clips. LOL
Just for grins... I teach a martial art, and still believe in the ancient secret Chinese art of Run Ning. |

Location: NC | PLacement is everything..........I have read so many studies and shooters (LEO) of usually shoot high 90 percentile qualification will go to around 60's percentile in a live shooting. I investigate alot of police involved shootings and I would agree. PLacement can only be made if your willing to put yourself at risk and make the shot with extreme concentration.
I equate it to a quaterback in the pocket during a rush with a receiver going downfield shaking a corner.........if your willing to take a hit and release at the last moment then you connect and probably have a touchdown. Not saying to take a bullet.....just know it exist. I still prefer to run my ass off and peak around corners.
This job pays way too little to get shot....I need a greeter job a Wal-Mart! :D |
