I can see a bandwagon when it comes by. Part satyrical and part serious, had to do it.

Who has a broken-down, ragged, third time I glued the rosette back on gen-u-wine piece of crap beater that they just can't seem to throw away?

I do! My Applesauce AA12 is the last thing I'd bring to a jam session and the first thing I'd toss in the back of a truck for a hike or day trip. Slightly bigger than a Uke and perfect to fall asleep with in a hammock.

my 1669 (deep bowl, cutaway Custom Legend) was...no electronics, rosette loose, crazy glue all over the top, track marks from ? duct tape inside the bowl, fret wear, damaged label, finish cracks, etc.

now, with parts and advice from Kim, now good looking and working well. even took out the finish cracks (well, couple are almost not noticeable.)
