Location: So. Cal. | Inspired by StandingO's wonderful idea with the FD-14, I'd like to poll our members on the original Adamas I (sorry, no Adamas II, SMT or CVT in this one) series. Short and simple reply, if you please.

1687-7 90 2-knob

| I am unsure of what your after?
But I have always had a thing for the 1687-7's & 88-7's. Wonderful pieces of musical artwork!
I did not know about the cutaway version of the Adamas 1's until I saw the one Al had for sale (1587-7). This version has the very best of both worlds.
I was wondering why the 1587-7 I bought from Al Pep is the only one I have seen? Certainly there must be someone on this list who has one other than me?
I certainly hope this OFC guitar has something of these Flagship Ovation guitars in it's makeup! If so I'd be interested as well. Randy |

Location: 6 String Ranch | Yes Randy, I've got one but was too lazy to pull it out of the closet and look at all the numbers. It's in the 4000 range, -7 cutaway, should be a two knobber. |

I am curious as to why I have not seen one of these in any color up for sale on ebay? Ever?
I do see the 1687's all the time! And I know these are not exactly common guitars? #7069 87
No need to completly change the content of this thread. Not my intension, I was just very curious to see if anyone knew if Ovation did not do well with these 1587's & 88's production or for what reason these seem to be so scarce? I had asked this in an earlier post and got no response? figured It might be worth a stab here. Thanks.
