My stalwart Old Warrior will soon have a counterpart to swap stories with - once Fedex finds my house....

A confession: it's tough waiting. I didn't like it as a kid, but as a Dad I do my best to present a brave face (and heck, my kids don't like it either) - we must keep up appearances, after all.

Seems the Fedex driver got confused - after all, there are two streets here with similar sounding names. I called and spoke to a real person (that was nice). Gave directions, phone number, etc. Now it'll be maybe a day or so more (she said generally a day).....

ok - no more whining.

Hope springs eternal...

I can take it.

Best wishes, all.

The secret is to buy lots of guitars and have them shipped by each carrier. After a while they call you by name.

If FedEx merged with UPS they'd form a new carrier called FedUPS. Maybe that would be a better description of thier service sometimes on the part of the person waiting for the deliveries!!!! :D Play On!

Not at this rate.

Anyway, I've just heard that it has arrived, and that the address on it was spelled incorrectly - and that the correction made to the address was spelled incorrectly also.

So I guess I must credit FedEx with succeeding in getting it to my house. Three weeks to the day after the auction ended.

Details, pictures, etc., eventually to follow....

Have a great Thanksgiving, all of ye'!
