Just in this morning from NJ - Thanks, Al.

This is a roundhole 2001 Collector #444 - beautiful instrument - beautiful sound. Thanks, Al, for suggesting this particular model; couldn't be more pleased. Hope everyone has a splendid weekend.

Sincere Regards,
Jon Van Gilder

Hi,

Will be using it Sunday night to accompany two vocalists - kind of an early Thanksgiving Service with music at our church. Then on Thursday morning will be taking it into the studio to finish up some work on a demo that we have been working on for a couple of months now. Will keep you posted.

Jon,

Sidebar here: I don't see the Viper EA68 in your list of guitars. Did you not keep it?

Paul,

It went to Al for the 2001 Collector. I liked everything about the guitar except the neck profile. It was a little uncomfortable for me when playing for extended periods of time. Too much V if you know what I mean; actually was bruising my thumb.

Al's in the basement with Igor working on the blue ash Viper as we speak.

Hey,

Just rehearsed the vocalists for a Sunday night Thanksgiving service. The 2001 is primo; great rhythm sound and sounds like a dream for solo breaks. It makes me ALMOST forget my Adamas SMT. No wait...

Al P. is a good guy for honesty, service and pricing to deal with. I've bought three Ovations from him and will continue to do so when the opportunity (plus the doe re me $'s) are there. Play On!

John L,

I am hoping to be able to keep what I have now, and not have to trade anything off! I've probably had six or seven Ovations and an Adamas pass through here in the last year. The 2001 is a keeper, and the Glen Campbell Artist looks like it's going to stick as well. How did you put it? More Do Re Me - More Dough For Me - yeah, yeah, yeah. Trouble is that I've got seven kids and they keep wanting to eat!
