Location: Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey | Paul's on the cover of the new guitar world Acoustic mag. Great article so far. First time he's done an interview about playing acoustic guitar in like 14 years. Some shots of him playing Ovations back in the days of Wings. Promoting the new epiphone Paul McCartney model. The cool thing is that he wasn't into doing a signature model for a long time...but decided to so he can give all the money to one of his charities. Apparantly they copied the guitar right down to the dents and nicks. Started reading the article, haven't finished. Little article on Kaki in there too.
Also happened to see Kaki on the cover of "Frets" magazine at Barnes & Noble yesterday.

In the McCartney article, there's a pic of him from the 70's playing a CL 12 string, and in one pic, you could see the headstock of a slothead. Too bad those pics were from 30 years ago. |

Trivia question, which Beatle had the most top ten one hits after they broke up? The answer don't come easy...........hint

Location: Sugar Land Texas | Have any of you seen "Back in the USA" a DVD chronicling Paul's 2002 tour in the US? There is moment in the show where it's just him and his Martin playing classic Beatle tunes such as Blackbird, We Can Work It Out and many others..he also pays tribute to Lennon with "Here Today" and George with a uke on "Something"..Paul rocks just as hard as ever and a highlight in the show is where he trades riffs with the two guitarists in his band on "Carry That Weight"...great stuff! A Must See.. |

Don't ya just love watching that drummer? That guy just LOVES playing, and puts ever ounce of his being into it.

Location: Rego Park, NY, | A friend of mine,Dennis delivers construction supplies. He made a delivery in October to Manhattan. The man who the delivery was for greeted Dennis in the lobby and asked him if he would like something to drink and to have a seat before unloading the delivery. Dennis declined. He thought that the man who the delivery was for looked familiar. While waiting in the lobby Dennis started talking to the doorman. He finally asked the doorman if that was Paul McCartney. IT WAS!! He wished that he had his camera with him. The doorman told Dennis that he takes pictures with people all the time. Opportunity lost. Paul, what a great guy!! |

Location: NJ | Finally got my issue in the mail, and read it last night. Pretty good interview. Offered a lot of insight as to how "low-tech" of a player he is . . .
(I just can't for the life of me figure out why they have a picture of Angela Landsbury on the cover of the issue, tho . . ) |

I think when you're a few months short of 64, she's considered one hot mama. :D |
