Last night was watching "metal mania" on VH-1 classic when a Type-O-Negative vid came on (Black No.1, I think). Not really a fan, but was interesting that the guitarist was playing an Ovation 12 string, yet the only "guitar" I heard was an electric with distortion. Wondered if it was actually recorded with that Ovation 12 string through an electric amp.

Pointless, useless info. My brain stores/ponders a lot of that lately.

Ovation through an electric amp..is kinda pointless. oh here's an important question for you.

The acoustics through an electric amp can sound interesting. The drive from the preamp can add new meaning to power chords.
