I am looking to try out some new amp settings, right now I have the volume at around 8, the treble at 8, the bass at 4, mid at 5. I need some ideas.

Location: NC | I have a Kustom KAA30 and just fiddled with it until sound was what I desired. I think each amp has it own seetings and qualities that must be tinkered with individually. Sorry, I know this was no help. :p |

The only REAL help I can offer is to set the amp to a medium volume, treb bass and mid set low. Bring up the bass end first. Back off if it gets woofy. Treble up next to suit the sparkle factor. Mid up last. Seems like most acoustics sound best with the mids cut quite a bit. A bit more mids to "stand out". Too much can make you sound muddy or dull sounding (masks the highs). The whole time you do this, you're going to have to adjust the volume to keep it sane.

I agree - it's all taste, I do like to set my bass to min first, tweak mid and treble and then add a little bass for taste!!

Sorry you had to figure there would be one dummy in this crowd I just took the pressure of the rest of these guy's to be IT !
