Curious... Am I the only only one in this forum with a Q model Adamas, either 6 or 12 string? I am an amateur player and the guitar was a gift without a lot of input. (Long story but is related to having recently celebrated my 5th second life birthday with a double lung transplant). Anyway it's odd here at the bottom or top depending on how you look at it. I had a good friend come over and play my Q598 and I just about came to tears. Absolutely brilliant sound. Who can tell me more about the story than is on the Adamas site?

Curious...

And I was happy because I managed to get a few kids out of the house! Every day is a gift.

Smarter people may correct me but I believe the "Q" you have is a bit of the last tech upgrades on the market but not the full "Q" Project material. The ANS neck and GS Bowl as seen in the LX, et al. Shape of the sound holes is different (a little change can be a good thing).

What you have is the high end marketed first release of the technical and artistic ideas that Ovation USA is going to use in this next era!

Enjoy!

Belated congrats on the 5th re-Birthday!!
A co-worker's wife went through the same surgery a couple years ago. She said the most disconcerting thing was first breathing with the new lungs . . she said she had been so acclimated to the shallow breathing with her former organs, that when she awoke with the new ones she was litterally "drowning" on air.

S'gotta be a STRANGE feeling! . . .

All the Best to You!! . . .

btw: Nice Guitar!

I can definitely relate to the first breath of fresh air. Just one of those things you can't really put into words. It definitely has a way of making you see life a bit differently.

Thanks... :D
