...until my L777 Legend is done, according to Mark at Ovation! I e-mailed yesterday and asked for an ETA; Mark was kind enough to do a little research and inform me that my guitar should be done the first week of November!

Now I've got even worse GAS and anticipation...

;)

It's a new guitar...they haven't started building LX lefties yet, so I decided to go ahead and order an "old style" lefty 1777-5 (or "L777-5").

So I'm getting anxious...

Don't you just hate the waiting part when it gets real close?

You'll have to make do with a Larrivee in the meantime.....

On a tangent, I played Kathy Friedli's Ovation at your place last year, Mike. I believe that is a very early model, and it does have wonderful tone. I am in hopes that I have first rights of refusal if she ever decides to get rid of it. :D

Paul,

You won't have to fight me for it; it's strung "wrong"!

;)

BTW, we still gotta "do lunch" sometime...

The guys at UPS are gonna have a blast bouncing that guitar box around the warehouse before you get it I'll bet.

Sorry not funny. I have never had a problem yet with shipping. I hope to make the next trip I want to see that factory and all those parts and this bunch of nut's!

My Wife called this afternoon to tell me a smaller than usual guitar case with a USPS sticker on it showed up.

"Where's the outer box????"

It's a pre-beat Viper from ebay. Expecting a BW later this week!

I waited for the Elite LX until it killed me then I decided to get the Std. Elite LX. No gloss finish but the gloss don't make you play better......or does it?
