$399 for a CT-built Ovation and nobody bid. What is it that people don't like about them? I love mine dearly. Fretboard too wide perhaps? |

Location: SoCal | I think that a lot of people like these guitars. But $400 for a guitar without a pickup is a little pricy in today's ebay market.
Overall, Ovations are (IMHO) very underpriced in today's used guitar market. Most O's that sell on ebay, again IMHO, should sell for about twice what they do. But they don't and the market has spoken.
Makes for great bargins. |

Location: Monroe, Ohio (Cincinnati) | Ebay is a great place for informed Ovation shoppers. I just picked this up almost by accident. I didn't think it would go for nearly this low. I haven't seen it yet, so I could find out different when it arrives, but I think I got a great deal.

Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | Got one with a "sprung" neck for $130.00. A little judicious work with a heat gun, a BIG C-clamp, and a bit of two-part epoxy; I have a great playing axe! I don't think I'll electrify it, but ya nevah know... |
