Just a word, to have your opinion, what do you think of this guitar? Someone got it ? And, what price is really a good price to buy it, if it's possible yet to find one ?
thanks to reply

I believe in so much that I have more than one-in fact, four. Only 300 made, 120 for domestic, 180 for non-US markets.

There are a few still in the hands of dealers...the Guitar Center here has one ($1,799, up so high, can't tell that it has abalone.) As far as Europe, no idea.

They're listed in the current Musician'sFriend (for whatever THAT'S worth).

There's also one at the GuitarCenter in Springfield, NJ.

I suspect there's quite a few out there still to be had . . .

I must say that mine is amazing. Unplugged - it's not too bad - plugged in is when it really stands out for me. This is the tone I've been searching for for years.... I only wish I had Tony's forsight and picked up a few of them....

as to why I have four - heck if I know

two new - one for me and one will probably be a gift for my daughter; two are perfect demos that will eventually be traded or sold.

some appreciate the Custom Legend, some don't...yet, I feel that the Custom Legend is the finest centerhole guitar that Ovation has made...this one, with the OP-Pro, bear claw spruce, carved walnut, bone nut, etc., is the one that gets the most play. I haven't found any other brand, at whatever cost, that compares.

Cliff,

As to Guitar Center, don't know about the east coast but this GC didn't even get one until a couple of months ago - they have it so high and in a corner that I doub't if most shoppers know it is even there. The staff in the string/accessory section didn't know they had one. The guys in the guitar section knew it was an Ovation but didn't even know it was a Custom Legend, let alone a limited run. (Probably thought it was a Celeb.)

Never tried to negotiate with GC but if they don't market it, don't care, don't sell - with a little haggling, might be a good deal for someone as it would have warranty.

I was surprised as hell!!!
I walked into the acoustic room and bang!!
right there at eye-level (amongst the Celebs)
were two EliteT Flamers and the CL30th . . .

unknown in Europe or cost to ship from US dealer.

US dealer: new, with warranty, $1,750-$1,850.

demo or used: $1,500-$1,550.

as to availability, my understanding is that the guitars were "sold" by the factory in February, whether they had all been shipped. there are some still in the dealer network.

Guiguite, je remarque que tu as deux Adamas. Est-ce que tu les aimes beaucoup? Je viens d'acheter un Adamas CVT mais, malheureusement, je l'attend encore!

Guiguite, I notice that you have two Adamas. Do you like them a lot? I have just bought an Adamas CVT but, unfortunately, I again await it!

"I again await it"? My translation is "I'm still waiting for it".

I saw one last week at Guitar Center's new flagship store on 14th street NYC. It was hanging way up high on the wall and I didn't ask to play it. It had the most beautiful abalone I've ever seen on the soundhole rosette-I have two 1619's and there is no comparison. Also the bear claw markings in the spruce were very striking. It looked like the one that photos were posted of here a few months ago (Standing O's?). The price was $1799.

Thanks for all, guys, I know now better real good price of CL 30. And for Duncan, yes, oui, I love my two adamas, especially my Adamas blue II, which is the best big sound, I think, of all my guitars. I'll never do again....
