Location: south east Michigan | I was wondering...just how many pounds of force are there on an average steel string acoustic? I know string diameter can make a difference, but what is a good ballpark figure?

Location: 6 String Ranch | I remember it as 150 for acoustic, 110 for a classical and 130 for an electric (10 set)
A medium acoustic was 160-170 and a 12 was 285.
Has anyone done the math of the D'ad site, do these numbers sound right? |

It varies by set... depending on the core wire. |
