Location: Warren,Pa. | I want to see if my thinking is correct here. A few weeks ago I was asking about necks which are as easy to play as my '97 Collectors'. I was thinking maybe LX necks. Someone suggested pre-K bar necks. Now I've acquired a '76 Legend with...a neck as easy as my '97.(Pre-Kbar). So....Am I to understand that the K-bar necessitated a V-shaped neck to bury all that aluminum. I heard on the tour that Al DiMeola asked for a slimmer profile, but they couldn't do it because the router bit cut into the Kbar. So if I avoid a K-bar neck, I'll get the thin neck my aging hands need. |
