Ovation Elite 1537

Bought it used and have loved the guitar in about everyway, except I am getting some noise from the electronics if I bump the cord at all. I was about to sell it to buy an Adamas, but started researching and am finding that the 1537 is a highly praised instrument in it's own right, so am thinking about just having it fixed and keeping it. Other than the finish crack (one) and electronic thing, it is nearly a new looking guitar that sounds and plays great. Any background, thoughts or wisdom to share with this newbie to the Ovation board? Thanks moody, p.i. About 3 weeks ago, I had my 1537's jack replaced. Cost about $30. Great guitar. I've had mine for 11 years and will never part with it. Very classy, and you can do what you need to do externally. Any recommended "black box" to enhance the acoustic sounds when plugged in? Cheap (well, cost effective) would be nice.
