Hello,

I am owning an Applause Electric Guitar with two Humbuckers. There is no Serial-Number or any information on this guitar.
Someone told me, that this could be an Applause AR25T. Is this right? Or are there any other possibilities?

Can you give me any information about this model? When was it built?

Thanks for any information.

Greets from Germany
Tobias

This is a great guitar. For some reason (It will come to me, the memory's a little slow sometimes) it's got applesause on the peghead but other than that it's an Ultra GP which has become a rather desirable guitar. I guess they bring big bucks. Hold onto this one!

GP = Gotten POPULAR!!!

Actually, GP stood for "Guitar Paul".
Basically, it was Ovation's take on a Gibson LesPaul.

Recently, they've become quite desireable as Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age plays one.

They've been fetching in excess of $2K . . .

Whyzzitt got "Applause" on it??
Did a couple of necks go through the wrong silkscreen station . . . ????

because they couldn't give'em away at the time, so they dropped the price & called the remainder of the inventory "Applause". Which makes the whole GP-frenzy thing even more ludicrous than it already is. It's a GP in every respect except for the headstock decal. In terms of rarity it should be worth several thousand, pro-rata. But then Josh's says "Ovation" on the headstock not "Applause" so realisticaly it must be worth about the same as any other Applause.
