Location: Italy | Hello Ovation friends,
I'm the newest baby on this great and beautiful OFC. I love the Custom legend 1619 natural wood colour, deep body, non cutaway, since 1978, when I seen a concert of the PFM (Premiata Forneria Marconi) in my town and I made to myself the promise that a day I should been able to buy one of these.
A model of late '70...
I need suggestions and ask to the greatest fans of this factory, of course.
Suggestions about the models, difference between the years of production, availability, the costs. I hope my dream will be not ever only a dream.
Thanks in advance.

Location: Phoenix AZ | Hello Ezio, You have found another big PFM fan here! Not too many people in the US even know who they were in the original line ups of the 70's. Outstanding music and vocals (even that I don't understand Italian). My favorite LP is Chocolate Kings and also The World became The World and LiIsola di neinte. I never saw them perform live myself, but they were on a US music TV show called "Midnight Special" and it was fantastic. Good luck in your search for 1619 guitar. I have one in gloss black color and like it very much. |

Location: Italy | Hello Dave,
thanks for your first reply; yes, the PFM was great! Do you remember sweet Mary (dolcissima Maria?) And "Celebration"? Good times! Your Custom legend black is really beautiful, I think it's the more beautiful between the CL, but I love the 1619 natural wood colour because Franco Mussida (PFM), that night of late '70, had exactly this model...
Greetings from Italy.
