But, hey any pub is good pub, right? Maybe Kaman should slip some "news" to the press. I can see it now - Marcel Dadi caught in money laundering scheme ... David Gates gives up low carb diet ... Melissa Ethridge fathers a child ... Glen Campbell kicks a cop ... Cat Stevens shaves ... |

Off topic...but the title of the thread made me think of a "crappy" experience I had a few years back at a concert. I reluctantly went to see Queensryche with some friends who are fans. They played well, but were pretty boring to watch. Geoff Tate got pretty pissed that everyone was just sitting in their seats watching, and not getting into the show. He went off on a tyraid, yelling at the audience... "If you don't give to us, we won't give to you...we feed off your energy..."etc. Had a lame-ass temper tantrum, and it was quite pathetic if you ask me. If he wasn't so damn boring, then the audience would be into it. I just kept thinking, "um, no..I gave at the door to you...it's your job to entertian me, not vice versa"
Everybody has bad days, and I KNOW it sucks when the audience is not responding (time just stops, and you're in HELL up there on stage) but I think it's just reeeeeeally a bad move to dump on fans who have paid to see you. Have a little class, and reach in yourself for that little something extra that will kick the show in gear, and pray for the best. They're not all gonna be great shows.
Unfortunately, it wasn't the only show I saw that year that the performer got nasty with the audience. It's just sad when someone's head has grown too big to respect the people who appreciate them and have made them rich.
