So of course I had to pick up an Ovation finally after years of debating, went in, and picked one up yesterday. Happened to pick up the Elite 1778T, blacked out version. I dig it, just what i wanted it to be. Anyways.

The wire dongle that holds the wires which run from the 1/4 jack to the preamp to the bridge pickup has come loose. Now as most of you know its only held on by some double sided tape. What I want to know is where that sucker is supposed to be attached. IE the round body or the spruce top. So any info would be good.

I figure it doesn't really matter but so much, just thought I'd get yous guys' opinions.

Thanks
Byron

Welcome!

An educated guess:
I'd affix it to the inside of the bowl so that it won't vibrate against the top and potentially "buzz" . . . .

Aight, well thanks. Good educated guess, thats kinda what I was figuring. But what Im really looking for is someone to unscrew their roundbody and see where that deal sits stock. Thanks a lot.

The harness site right behind the pre-amp on the bowl. If you can see inside, you will probably see were it goes.Try putting it back on with super glue.
