Not to be, you know, a downer or, like, morbid or anything, but, um, I played this record backwards and it said Paul was dead. What's up with that? I'm sure it was a different Paul, though, but that one seems to be pretty well alive. I almost said, '...and kicking,' but that might be inappropriate given his current thing, you know?

I saw your name on a couple reviews on H-C, were they for the new LX models (I can't remember)? Seems like I was going to ask you a couple questions related to those (new) models. I'll check back with the reviews on H-C; maybe it will jog my memory...but one of the questions was: Do you think the new preamp is superior to the former (OP30/40/50, etc.), and if not, why not,and if so, why? Just curious, because it is getting such mixed reviews. I'm wondering if it "comes into its own" more when used live as opposed to just "plugged in at home"?
Thanks. |

A good friend came over a while back to record some vinyl onto Audio CD and his turntable became possessed and starting turning backwards. I took the opportunity to drag out the White Album and put Revolution #9 on the platter and recorded it backwards onto CD.
It really does say "Turn Me On, Dead Man", but it's a freak of the recording and not in a clear John voice by any stretch.
I could dig the disc out a burn a copy for any conspiracy theorists ... or Beatle junkies ... out there. |

I'll be reachin' for the bottle Lord
