New to the forum. Have enjoyed this site for a few months now and as my health allows I will become a more active participant. Anyway, I just order a Q598 (hope to receive in about 10 days) and was wondering if anyone had any opinions or experience with this model? Will post a pic when it arrives.

Great site.

Many opinions have popped up but few from actually handling the beast. I want to hear what you have to offer wen you get a hold of it!

Correct me if I missed but isn't it made using the new ANS neck and GS bowl? Coupled with the graphite top it should be a sound machine!

As expressed before I have shown little patience waiting for the line to expand toward using the new components along with deep bowls, etc.

Hope to hear from you soon and welcome back.

Depending on how you look at it, I think we're waiting for the line to extend BACKWARDS to include deep-bowl!!! (forward...into the past!!!) :D

Having played two Al DiMeola Custom Legends in the past week (Slipkid's, plus another one in a shop in the Detroit area), I believe deep-bowl is definitely more important to me than LX is.
