Ok - so it is a really cheezy movie with almost no plot line and mediocre acting and very little comedy (compared to the steller movies of this genere such as "Happy Gilmore" or "Water Boy". BUT ... 50 First Dates is a MUST SEE in my opinion just for the closing credits. The music during the closing credits is an awesome version of "Over The Rainbow" played on Ukulele. I don't know who the performer was and it's not included on the soundtrack CD. So rent the DVD and fast forward about 100 minutes to the closing credits and enjoy it.
PS - I'll try to perform my own (cheezy) version of the song at this Saturdays OFC Jam Session. Don't miss it.

Is it the Brudda Iz version as heard on Meet Joe Black and E Toys commercials?
I distributed the chord/lyric sheets some time back if it be so. Its a medley of Over the Rainbow and Wonderful World (I like to end on Randy Stonehill's King of Hearts).

I think the movie is worth watching because Adam Sandler is such a deep character actor! The depth and control he has over his emotions is truly amazing! It's exciting to see how he has matured not only as an actor but as a human being.

Rob Schneider stole this movie, imho....
We saw it while vacationing on Key West in February. It was a so-so date movie.
Cliff: if you are reading this, Blue Heaven is a fantastic restaurant and I very much thank you for the recommendation if I haven't done it before. (It's a fantastic restaurant when you aren't reading this, too.)
