I had a 1778T about a year ago. It had some electronic issues, so I sent it back for a refund. I really liked the guitar, and have now bought another. I noticed it now had a truss rod cover (ala LX). It seems light similar to the LX elite I have. Have they LX'ed the T's? The new 1778T is awesome (as I commented on in another post). Great guitar.

I believe they have LXed the T. The special Guitar Center flame Elite T model I tried yesterday at our local GC had a truss rod cover, also. That surprised me when I noticed it.

It had an AWESOME sound. Very worthwhile if you are in the market.

I recently exchanged the EliteT I bought at Guitar Center for another one (minor problems). The first guitar had a nice shallow rounded neck, but this new one has a slight v in the neck. Since I'm new to Ovations this feels a little funny to me. Are EliteT's supposed to have this neck shape?
