Learn sumptin new every day. Never knew they made the Applause in the 1960's, but here it is in print so it must be true.

Obviously a prototype, but, amazingly, one identical to the later production Applause models. A rare guitar for sure, especially if signed by CWK I. Seller neglected to mention how he came to possess such a rare model, made before CWKII started calling them "applesause".

This here is a wintage applesause from the later 70's. Doesn't the lable look like it says applesase? My sister did the logo.

I sent an email to this guy with the correct info. I love it whe they want to argue and tell me they know better. We'll see if he answers.
