Does anyone know the exact size of the truss rod screws that ovation uses? I thought it was something like #4 by 3/8 inch Phillister (sp?) head. Thanks, Dave

I am confused by your question. "truss rod screws" ?
your best bet is to call Ovation service and ask for John or Kim and they could probably help you

I believe he means the three screws that hold down the truss rod COVER. (Sorry Dave, but I don't know.)

While we're on the subject of O'screws:
Does anyone know the specs of (or have any extra to sell) the screws that hold an FET-3 preamp?
The years of playing (and SWEATING) in my old four piece rock band have resulted in said screws on my CBalladeer rusting. Any help'd be appreciated. After seeing what all goes on up at CustSvc, I'd hate to bother Keller&Co. with such trivial crap

OK, I'll take a shot at it. The screws are likely #2 X 3/8", Phillips, panhead type, in either stainless or brass (depending on the finish on the tuning machines). Good luck!

The screws used on the truss rod covers?
They were the real little ones, (chrome or gold)

It's the little things.... I think they used whatever screws that were appropriate and on sale at the time. I have seen both flat and philips, usually pan, black, gold, chrome, aluminum, snd a couple of differnt lengths... all short...
