Hi
I just purchased a new Country Artist, and it is all I had hoped for.

However, the serial number is not located inside, where I would want it. Instead, it is written (in numbers, and also a bar code) on a little tag tied onto the tuners with a piece of string.

Question - is there a type of glue that will auccessfully hold the paper serial number card to the inside of the bowl ?

And, why isn't it glued in there at the factory ?

Thanks for your time.
Felix

As far as I'm aware the current USA guitars have the S/no stamped into the back of the headstock
