3 Good arguments he was an Ovation Fan as well!
#1. He set a new path to follow, apart from the "traditionalists"(dare I say the phaTaylkorsee's,and SaMartinucies).
#2. He knew (and I paraphrase) If these (bad)things happen when the wood is green, what will be when it is dry? Thus, indorsing the use of Graphite and Resin ;)
#3. He was condenmed by those whom were seeking something higher, but didn't grasp it while it dwelt within their midst.

Now we have raised the specter of WHAT GUITAR WOULD JESUS PLAY?
I believe HE would get as good a laugh from this thread as we do as he was his father's gift to us seekers. |

If he was into guitar, we'd have a "real" Guitar Bible or something.
"Clapton Is God" would never have happened. |
