Location: NJ | I kinda go about it through the "back door", but it works EVERY time:
From YAHOO, I do a search for " van morrison chords ".
The very first selection that comes up is"
"OLGA Index: Van Morrison"
I click on that one.
It brings you to a directory of Van's songs, but once I'm "in", I can find (or try to find) whatever I want.
It's a bit "roundabout", but it works. |

Location: South Africa | I have a shortcut in my favourites menu which
is:
http://guitar.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http://www.olga.net/dynamic/browse.php%3Fprinter=0%26local=main/c/creedence%5Fclearwater%5Frevival/i%5Fheard%5Fit%5Fthrough%5Fth e%5Fgrapevine.tab
I don't remember how I got to this, but it takes me to what used to be the old OLGA homepage. |

Location: Fort Worth, Texas | That's a good URL Mike (looking for some CCR?). A few years ago I discovered OLGA and proceeded to fill up a couple of 3" binders of tabs. Shortly after that the big businesses shut OLGA down - or at least tried to. If I remember it corectly it was down for awhile. And getting into it has never been quite the same.
It seems more often than not these days when I do a Google search (like for example this morning "Youngblood Tabs") I get a handful of hits, but they all have the exact same tab(s), and that the tabs have all the lyrics cut out with just the opening lines to each line (like
Love is but...).
Then you get that web site were it says "Click to buy tabs" and/or
"Click to find sheet music" and when you go there it is just a search on Amazon.com that seldom has anything (as in the above mentioned example there were no tabs, no sheet music and no books about the Youngbloods).
Anyway seems like the heyday of OLGA is over, but it survives in it's current state. |
