Just listened some old LPs ... Passion, Grace & Fire (John McLaughlin, Al Di Meola, & Paco De Lucia) is awesome!! It's from '83.

If you wanted to know how well Ovation (deep bowl Custom Legend) can mix with flamenco guitars, you should get this CD (or LP if you can get one).

Jose Flaminco was an Ovation endorsee for a while, I think it was around the time of Chico and Da Man.

Almost every big name guitarists/singers used Ovation/Adamas in the 70s/80s. Not only in the US, but also around the world. Today, ... I'll keep buying good, old Ovation/Adamas.

I've always felt fortunate. I find something that works and I stay with it. I've never felt the need to have what's new and cool. Goes for guitars, cars, and wives.

Not to change the subject, but I and my wife love our new to us 1990 GMC Suburban. It's a big old truck that runs like some of the Buicks we have owned. These old things seem to have some value.

Moody, It's the wife part of that equation that's really expensive. Not so much the keeping and maintaining but the changing.

Dubyatoo

My wife is close to the same year and model as myself. Changing her would be a rejection of myself.
