Location: NJ | the OFC factory tour and fun day will be Friday March 28th. If you have not signed up for the tour please do so under the Members only link. (why does that remind me of bad jackets from the seventies???) It will be a great day for everyone.
If you have not made your hotel reservations you need to do that also. I just got off the phone with the Ramada. They know about our group and it was an easy and painless reservation process. The person that answered the phone was very helpful and nice.
Hope to see many of you there. I am sure you will not want to miss this event. |

Location: Madison, Wisconsin | I had origionaly planned to stay over Sat night to get a better rate on my airline tickets but I found that it was cheaper to return on Sat. Probably a good thing since March may not be the best time to kick around CT. |

Location: NJ | I considered the possibility of bringing my P.A., but then thought about the logistics of fitting myself, m'Lady, a guitar (possibly two), luggage, and possibly Master Templeman into a 2002 Subaru Impreza. Needless to say, the P.A.'s staying home. |

Templeman in trunk, wife tied to roof, PA in back seat, guitars in passenger seat (belted in of course), luggage optional. (Bring an extra shirt folded into one jacket pocket, toothbrush and deoderant in other).

Location: Madison, Wisconsin | Just got done talking with a very nice customer service rep. from United Airlines concerning a guitar as carry-on. She read a short passage concerning "musical instruments such as violins and guitars". It said they were fine as long as they were within the cabin free-space requirements. Which are 9" thick, 13" wide and 24" long. I asked her if she'd ever seen a guitar that was 24" or less and she laughed. She said I might find a gate keeper that would allow it in one airport but maybe not in another and the the coat closet was definately out since 9/11. Looks like it's check it or nothing. |

The current adjenda is
9 am start at the factory. The morning will have a tour of the Ovation factory. (probably we will be divided into 2 groups and one group will visit Hamer in the am.
Lunch
completion of factory tour.
Introduction of the "Q" project.
Time to try guitar, Door prize, goodie bags
Open forum with Ovation management to offer suggestions and comments.
Dinner
Jam with Matt Smith
Now all this is subject to change this is just a thumbnail overview as I see the events of the day. I am sure it will be a great time. |

Location: Fort Worth, Texas | Well, somebody take some good notes and pics. I was still mulling over signing up to make it and realized when I looked at the calendar that I booked our band for a gig on Thursday the 27th, which is when I would have traveled.
Well, the band needs exposure and experience (despite our ages we are relatively new at this) and my new Legend will get a work out.

Location: NJ | In reference to photography. I was told that it is not a problem but to please remember that flashes may distract people working on dangerous machines and try not to cause any accidents.
I was also told that most of the guys on the third floor are professional models so you may need to bring some release forms and a checkbook for payment. |

Please reply even if everything is correct. Also, we need the full contact information (names, addresses and such) for any guests you will be bringing. This was a request by KMC for security and liability reasons, the info will not be used for anything else.
If you did not receive a confirmation request email, and you signed up, please let me know.
