Yeah, I was interested in looking cool when I was a teenager. That's why I had to have a D-28, the instrument you needed to be taken seriously as a player.

Now I use what works best and let my playing speak for itself. What works best for me now is an Ovation. If and when something better comes along I'll switch and never look back.

It was cool to have a ovation in the 80s, but now it seems that the retro-mania forced to come back to overpriced guitars like Martin and Taylor, but anyway I never cared to be "cool" in my life.

Yes, definitely. The trip from Ovation back to Ovation took me 30 yrs.

Ovations are definately unique. Depending on the era they have been called everything from revolutionary to revolting.
