Hi,

I've got the crazy project to have pics of all the #47-RI that's why I'd like to ask to all the owners of this outstanding guitar if they could help me??? ADAMAS #47-RI PAGE
I know that it will be hard to find them all because they're everywhere in the world but I'm still confident. ;)

At this time, I've got pics from the #003,#007,#010,#011,#019,#024 & #033 models and I will have pics of the #013 pretty soon.

I'd like to thank you all by advance for your help. ;)

Jerome :)

I'm anxious to see your pics from Australia.
I went to Australia for 3 weeks in 1999 and it's an outstanding country!!
It still one of the greatest travel I've ever made.

My understanding (rumor) is that there were 2 protos and 2 built for artists. Not sure if theses have numbers or not.

What I meant was, maybe 1&2 were the protos and 4 was one of the Artist versions. Dave

Dave's 47-47 is beautiful. And sounds incredible. I think I played it more than he did (Thanks Dave) Saturday. I have to say that I didn't buy one of these guitars because of the narrow neck, but because of the profile these necks play easy....

I came close to giving my credit card to Al after playing Cliff's slot and then Dave's. Nice friggin' guitars.

# 5, # 5, # 5, # 5, # 5, # 5, # 5, # 5, # 5

I have # 5 reserved...as most of you know, I have # 3 that I love. I don't want to hoard.

If someone on the OFC wants a LOW, LOW, LOW serial number (2nd lowest serial that we know of), contact Al as soon as possible.

If no one has bought it by noon EST (Al's time) tomorrow (9/19/06) - it will come to San Diego.

It is time, wait and you may not be able to find one.

According some very good sources, 4 models have been delivered 2 weeks ago in France.
#33 belongs now to one of my friend but I don't know where are the 3 others...
My quest seems to be hard but I'm still confident...

One thing is sure, #05 will stay in the OFC Family!!

Hurry up guys, this is the last call for an outstanding guitar who will stay in O's history for a long long time... ;)

What Al really meant is that he has some on order and coming in...however at far higher serial number.

As it originally appeared that they were only making 47, are the guitars above 47 getting a different sequence of numbers...such as AT48 (AT for after thought)?

Maybe they'll do like they did with the Ute and come out with the same guitar, but give it a new name and model number...and price it about $1000 higher.

Personally, I'm watching for the OFC guitar which should be based on the 47RI, but be blue and have a p/u.

Either it will come out, or I'll have missed the slothead reissue altogether. We'll see.....

And a very happy OFC'er he is! It is truly a beautiful instrument... so much so that MRS. CrimsonLake approved the transaction without so much as a raised voice or a teardrop! I got the added bonus of getting to meet and spend some time with Al - just an all around nice guy!

I now need to get operated on so I won't get anymore GAS in the foreseeable future.

I might not have so many Ovations if there was someone close who could get me a fix once in awhile. Then again, I might have a worse case of GAS.

CL, Jerome's website can only accept pictures taken with a very special camera.....which I am fortunate enough to own.

Please send the guitar to me so that I can get this properly photographed for the French website!

Something's boxed up alright... just stand back when you open it! I had my son helping me box it up... when I was all done the guitar was still there... uh oh! Just feed him 5 times a day and send him back after college.

Mike,

Congrats for the #5!!!
I'm so glad for you.
For the pics, 1024x768 is usually good enough.
Thank you very much for you help. ;)

Today, I had a message from the #35's owner.
This guitar in France and I should have some pics in the future.

Thank you all.

Ralph is THE Ovation and Adamas fancier in Germany and a great player too. He plays the hell out of these guitars! One of his projects is a Middle Ages band, see

Des Geyers schwarzer Haufen

Look at "Bilder" (=pictures). Here you can see Ralph playing his book Mandocello and Adamas. It's a lot of fun!

Hi Karl,

it's a medieval-band. I'm "middle-age"!
Thanks anyway, Karl!

I always hoped my English would be better than my guitar skills.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing you next week. I'm under heavy #47RI GAS attack.

Thanks philmax! I'm very happy to be the guy who is endorsing Ovations in Germany. And I'm doing workshops in the german guitarshops also. Like Matt Smith is doing the same in America. It's a great job! And it's greast stuff also.

Ralph,

Do you remember this guitar??? ;)
I've got a real weakness for it because it was my first and because it's an amazing sounding instrument.
If I want to sell it one day, you will be the first to be informed.
She has now some nice sisters and the next one is awaited in few days...

Thanks

J :)
