Location: SE Michigan | Wow...pretty impressive. He kind of has a Brian May tone to his playing. I always wonder when I see stuff like this if he threw this together in a couple of hours or if this represents months of rote memorization. |

Location: New York, NY | It's not his own. It's Pachelbel's Canon, a famous piece of classical music. Apparently someone else created this composition and this kid/alien played it.

My wife and I play a flute/guitar version of this at weddings. My part is duller than day old dishwater (its just a walking bass line, played in D-tuning. Same thing over and over and over...). I think I'll see if we can do this arrangement instead. |

Location: Indiana | He kind of has a Brian May tone to his playing. I noticed that too. Brian was one of my favs as a teen in the 70's. His guitar and tone were very unique...and his skill was far beyond most 'rock and roll' guitarists of that time. There is a nice tune he plays on an Ovation 12 string on the Live at Wembley dvd.
This kid is very talented. I love hearing people put their own stamp on a song rather than try to duplicate it. |

Location: New Hampsha | There's a huge debate on whether or not the kid played the Canon in one shot or used some overdubbing. The quality of the video is poor and there are spots that there are too many notes being played for too little movement. Mr Funtwo claims he recorded the video and audio separately and didn't synch the two perfectly. My jury's still out on this. |

Location: SE Michigan | There was an artical on CNN.com about this kid. Apparently he lives in Seoul South Korea and he is what he appears to be. He was interviewed and said he practiced this piece for about a week before he made the video. Also says he was self-taught and that he's been playing about six years.
Kind of makes us guys who have been at it for 30+ years want to hang it up. |
