I need a favor from someone trust worthy in the portland area...and since no one came to mind, I decided to ask yall instead..

It would appear that I have bought an item, that may or may not be a guitar, and if it is a guitar it may or maybe not be an Ovation and if it is an Ovation it may or may not be a very purty 1115 Pacemaker in Tabbaco Burst....and now I need someone that would be willing to pick this up for me sometime between now and Saturday afternoon, and stick it on UPS down my way.

I know that all of yall, being the very helpful, supportive and caring sorts that yall are, will want to make sure I got a good deal on this item, and will want to inspect and play it to assure that it is in top condition...which I would hope can be done in less than 6 months, but I understand how this can be a VERY involved process, to make sure that nothing is missed. As long as I can have it before the birth of my first grand child, or by the end of the month, then I am fine with that and appreciate the help.

I would even be willing to send you a gift for all of your trouble. I have a used set of elixer custom lights, only played on Sundays by a worship leader who doesn't rock too much...or maybe a smoked brisket that I can flash freeze and over night to you...?

So...anyone interested?

Whereabouts in Portland is it, Greg? I'm leaving for a week Saturday morning, but I could pick it up and check it out when I get back, if it's reasonably close to my route to work.

And if for whatever reason Waskel or Greg fall thru, I'm here as well, out on the west side of town.
