Headstock logo on Custom Legend

Tony Calman Posted 2006-08-25 3:43 PM (#243240) Subject: Headstock logo on Custom Legend Joined: August 2003 Posts: 4619 Location: SoCal Several years ago, I traded a 1979 1619 Custom Legend to Paul Hebert...had the gold Ovation logo on the headstock. Number of posts back then questioned how it ended up with the gold label v. the pearloid. The 1979 1658 12-str Custom Legend that I just got in also has the gold label. Serial numbers only 1,374 apart so probably made the same month. The 1658 was a non-standard finish as production finishes were either natural or dark sunburst. Maybe you can get a picture of it on the next Ovation calendar. The 1619 I got from you really became poplular around here. I showed the picture of it from the OFC caledar to just about everyone I could think of. :)
