Location: PDX | So, i finally broke down and had my wife teach me how to use her digital camera. Which amused her to no end, and i had to endure her taunts about being a Ludite and the next step was going to be a cell phone.
Anyway, i took some pictures of a couple of my guitars and thought i would post them in the gallery but they are over the 100k size limit. Is there a way around this? Can i change the size of the file some way? Or something else?
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Open the JPG and select Image then Stretch Skew.
Enter 25% for Vert and Horizontal and save the pic. When you go to open the next pic you can hover the mouse over the one you just saved and it will tell you the pixel size.
Make adjustments as needed.
If you have a MAC there's probably an icon that does the whole thing. |

Location: closely held secret | Greg, you can also go to Microsoft Power Toys . Among other little goodies is an image resizer that's quick and easy. Integrates into Explorer on the right click menu. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I use the Image Expert program that came with our first digital camera, a Toshiba. I put all the pics in files under that program. It has a nice little drop down menue that shows the size and you can click "resize" and plug in a number. I use 500 and then it will automatically adjust the other direction. If it is still over 100k, I drop it down a little more.
When we got our Nikon, I tried using the program that came with it, but had way too many problems figuring it out. It's one of those that has way too many features I don't need and uses language that doesn't make sense to me. My wife wiped out a bunch of pictures with it.
If you can figure out the software that came with the camera, you might be able to use it to downsize the pictures. If I can do it, anyone can. |

$200? Do you get some kind of discount? Even the Amish are permitted to use PCs these days... as it doesn't count as modern technology... |

It's only a matter of time before the Democrats sponser a mission there to get them registered to vote... |

Was it the Fugs or Mothers Of Invention?? |

The first version of Boobsalot was by the Holy Modal Rounders and was a much much better version than the Fugs could ever dream of.
I had the original album and it came out in '63 or '64 (which I am pretty sure was before the Fugs!) |
