OMG........!That's amazing. But not one 12 string in that bunch? Do you not like the 12's?

You do know you have an Adamas's illness and, lucky for you, we have a 12 step program here. You take 12 of your Adamas's and send them to 12 other members. We are all ready to help you.

Incredible, Povation, but, please -

explain to one that has also more guitars than he is able to play at one time -

why five (and it would be more if there were more in the market - we both know) #47's?

I understand having the same model of different years of make (because of bracing, preamps), even because of a different colour - but why would you buy five #47's?

Maybe every guitar sounds a little different, but that won't be the reason.

Getting all 87 at the end of...the Universe? No chance.

So please, with a big curtsy to your collection - tell me why?

Best regards,
Kurt

Povation, It has been said many times that guitars improve with playing. You obviously have too many to manage that. As a special deal, I'll offer to take one of your #47s (or one of the other textured tops) and play it in for you. As others have testified, this will take a few years to get the full effect, but I'm such a swell guy I will take this arduous task on for you out of the goodness of my heart.

Hi Kurt,
I’m a guitar collector, player, not a seller.
In my opinion, Adamas 1187-247 Reissue is the best roundback guitar I have ever played. Don’t you think so?
So I should keep the best thing for my family.
My wife and my daughter do love this model too!
I’m Thai. I’d like to collect the great guitars for Thailand.
Many Thanks to Kaman Music.

Hi Northcountry,
My personal doctor advised me to grab other models to cure my illness!

Hi dvd,
That’s a reason why I do not put them in my signature.

Hi CWK2,
Yes indeed. I can never have enough guitars
Thanks.

Hi Povation,
your collection is incredible! Maybe the biggest O/A collection of the world? Who knows ....

I'm with you concerning #47RI.

I can help you crack your illness problem. No, I don't want to sell my #74RI but I realized you don't own a 1988 production year Adamas I. So my 1687-8 would be a nice addition to your collection.

Best wishes,

Karl

O.k., Povation wins. What a wonderful collection. If Povation keeps going, there won't be any left for the rest of the world. Not sure what the overseas markets are doing these days, but that collection is looking like a darn good retirement plan. I also agree that buying and holding is a lot more fun than selling and regretting.

Now I'm speechless. So, Povation, when did you start building up your amazing collection? Obviously you must have a very supportive family. It would take a warehouse to store them all. Let's see some pictures of your amps. Thanks for sharing your collection with us through photographs.

O.k., Miles, I think we have him beat on amps, at least until he opens up the other closets. Povaton, you have an amazing collection. I had (still have) lots of doubles on baseball cards, but none on guitars. You must own some shipping lines or a refinery or something like that.

a 1688, a kevin ryan nightingale, any collings and a james goodall koa model will round out your collection very nicely.

Dear Randy,
Thanks for suggestion. But I have no money now!
Maybe a 1688 for a New Year 2009 gift.
