Like a lot of people I'm sure, I check they bay, c/list, even GC but find alot of their stuff not updated.
So I see this one, didn't see it last week.

Not a lot of information, so I call. Of course it turns ot to be a clebrity & not at the advertised price. They have several used ovations, he does find a used 1861 for $499.00
I tell him they better sraighten out their website. Grrrrr..... :mad:

GC's lack of knowledge sometimes works in your favor. I bought an Elite 1868 for $200. It made its way to the mothership where they converted it into my Custom Mandocello (new neck and bridge). All told, I'm still well under 4 figures total for a unique instrument that looks brand new!

But even if I had just wanted the guitar, it was a freakin' steal!
