Location: Indiana		Was there a structural reason this design was dropped from 12 strings? I love 'em.

Location: 6 String Ranch		the points wound up being stress points and cracks would come from them, both the 6 and 12.
The 6 changed design to what you know now and the 12 soon followed.

You answered my curiosity about the old 'V' 6 string bridge too. A shame they were both problematic... I thought they were cool.
